She is the recipient of a research fellowship from the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft, research grants from the Kultusministerium Nordrhein-Westfalen (Germany), and  conference grants from the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service), New York, the Austrian Culture Institute, New York, and the John Kade Foundation, New York.
