Yeah, I read that, but it doesn't really make the whole thing clear to me.OK, Stani, I took a closer look at the case.
This story is easy to oversimplify.
The white cops sued because they were punished more severely than the black cop who was also involved in the beating.
That the cops should be getting the money from behind bars is a completely different story.
Even if you commit a horrendous crime, those who commit it with you shouldn't get off easier based on their skin color.
Well... I understand why they sued... It sucks when you get to take all the blame... (Don't worry, I still think what they did was wrong! ) But I don't know: I mean, other than giving those guys money... what else were they supposed to do. I mean, the one, at least, isn't getting his job back, right?
