Go figure....that's why I steer clear of scary movies.  First I am scared, and second, it might be total crap and then I get angry and scared.

In regards to ratings: I was reading the other day about how exact the specifications are in regards to how a movie is rated. For example, a PG-13 movie can use the word "fuck" exactly once, in a non-sexual connotation. Hence, many PG-13 movies have a token use somewhere in them.

Two uses and the movie automatically becomes R-rated.

yeah, i noticed that movies often will say it once, and alot of times its kinda out of place, like there are many other times when it would be more appropriate...well i dont think its ever really appropriate, but they'll be getting tortured nothin.
there aren't too many movies that have come out lately that i'm excited about. i'm going to check out this independant docuementary called "inside deep throat" which is about this porn film that came out in the 80's that got targeted among all the other porn films in circulation. anyhow, it deals with a lot of topics that we've been discussing in a media ethics and the law course that i'm taking, so i'm checking it out. its gotten pretty good reviews. the star of the original deep throat is now a born again christian living in utah and selling real estate. heh. just goes to show that porn stars can do anything they put their mind to ;)

a movie about the making of porn. i assume there will be little pornographic content. at least...i hope there will be little pornographic content. i have quite a few memories of people barracading me in rooms trying to force me to watch porn...once of which was pia and ahmed on senior trip. sweet jesus, its NOT that entertaining to make me watch porn...just mean.  :crying:
