The last really good movie I saw was The Incredibles! So cute and so funny! I love it when they put adult humor in child films. Any other suggestions for films?
The Incredibles is still on my "to watch" list but "Saw" and "National Treasure" still remain on top. (since it was...sold out over Thanksgiving break)
I like movies that give me a free movie in my head before actually going to see it... Texas Chainsaw Massacre
Actually, I ripped the above off some comedian, but I can't remember who.
i saw "closer" this past weekend and it was hot. an excellent movie and i say two thumbs and two bigtoes up.
oooo I must go see that! Anything with Jude Law and Julia Roberts! I'm all over that!
Watched "Alexander" last weekend. Bottom line a boring overrated movie... not worth your money
Saw Bridget Jones Edge of Reason. Kinda cute, but I'd save your money the first one is far better anyway.
hm, that's what i heard...well...that's all i really have as far as movies go...i saw the incredibles- FUNNY STUFF. hahaha, i think i was the loudest in that theatre. alex newmanwise was visiting from yale and he probably wished he'd stayed in connecticut. heh.
and yeah...closer...super hot. and its a win-win movie! the girls have jude law, and the girls have a basically naked natalie portman!
I really want to see that one with the girl from Amelie. A Very Long Engagement, or something like that. Yeah yeah chick flick, but what do you expect? I am after all a chick!
"Saw" was a very weird movie. My rommate downloaded it and was watching it while I was trying to sleep. The parts I did see were very disturbing. But since I am a disturbed person, I kind of liked it. Shrek 2 is still on my top list of movies I've seen recently. Even though I saw it like 6 months ago.
heh...i still haven't seen it...
Oh geez Gift....GET WITH THE TIMES, HUH? Sheesh....people....:D
Well, Gift is not the only one. I haven't seen Shrek 2 either...:D
The last good film I saw is Der Untergang (The Downfall), which is about Hitler's last days before his suicide. Critics on humanizing Hitler aside, it was a very powerful film with some really excellent acting on the part of the main actors. Don't know if they'll have it in American theaters though...
Never heard of it. Hitler really isn't too popular around here. Just saw this movie called "Collateral" not too bad if you like psycho thriller type movies. Besides "Meet the Fockers", are there any other good movies out there?
How is Meet the Fockers? I might be lazy enough to go watch it.
It was kinda funny. More of a stupid kind of humor but I def had a good chuckle. Has anyone seen the movie Spanglish? I rather liked that one.
"Spanglish"? I heard mixed feelings about that one. I think I'll go see if Shaolin Soccer or Rocky Horror Picture show is playing around here. Anyone ever see those ones? More importantly, has anyone ever gone to see the RHPS at a theater at midnight with all the weirdos dressed as the characters? It's a most interesting experience.
Darkness was absolutely the worst movie I have ever seen in my entire life. It was a rated 'R' movie, with but 2 words of profanity, no gore, no blood (besides a very small amount at the end), no dead bodies, no nudity, the worst acting (i've seen elementary school plays that were better) and the most retarded ending that contradicts the entire movie. The critics of the movie were either watching something else, or were paid off.
Wow that is some pretty bad shit!
