Just reminiscing with Thorsten about how much we miss our favorite pub in Vienna, Merry Monk, I got the inspiration to start a new conversation about what everyone's favorite nightlife location is/was. It might have changed over the years, so think back to where you liked to hang out back in the day, and where you hang out now, when back in Vienna (if applicable). The old classics of Vino's through Paddy's might come to mind, be free to mention those, but also any other places you might of encountered that you enjoyed a lot!
After I graduated I'd have to say Merry Monks... However but during Highschool.. it ranged from Lime Light, to Paddy's...
During senior year, my favorite was Billy's, because there were a lot of people there, creating a good atmosphere.
Now it's Merry Monk, because two of the greatest bartenders work there, and it's great to be greeted back with a fresh microbrew lager after many months.
paddy's and billys are the two places i can remember off the top of my head. i remember quite a few good times in kix, however. but many nights were spent walking home from paddys after 1 euro shot and beer nights... ah, the memories
oh, and kai and thorsten- you'll have to take me to merry monks!
Never been to Merry Monks...I imagine Vienna has a lot of awesome pubs besides the infamous Paddy's. I look forward to scoping out the night life scene in Vienna once again this coming summer!
Always Billy's Bones. Nothing beats cider, bacon and soccer nights....wow...5 years ago....Lime Light used to be a nice hole in the wall where we could just relax and drink ourselves stupid. Still the only place where I could order a Petrifyer. I haven't been able to find one here in the States
definitely going to have to agree with mark about the billy bones soccer nights! can't wait to be baaaack!!!!
I miss Billy's Bones. It was always full of jailbait. I miss that. 
Missing the jailbait Kai? Come down to the Bronx, I'll show a spot where the young kids play....that sounds wrong....but you get my drift. I can't wait to go back to Vienna and find a new spot. My sister Maggie went back last summer.....it's going to be a looong time before I go.
