Fall seems like it's almost over. I figured it's time I start planning a couple months ahead...
Vienna, of course, seems like the logical choice for New Year's Eve, because, quite frankly, it is pretty hard to beat that insanity.
So who, besides Katie and I, is going to be in Vienna that weekend?
i'm there! but then again, you already knew that
i fly out dec 27 and leave jan 4... PLAN SOME INSANITY kids
Well, I'll be in Berlin for New Year's Eve. I guess that's as close to Vienna as I can get...
Berlin gets pretty crazy on New Year's Eve, too. Too many tourists, too many people, you really don't want to walk on the streets of downtown Berlin on that day. And definitely don't get anywhere close to the Brandenburger Tor!! I learned my lesson last year....;)
I'll be in Berlin in March or April or something... Weeeew! Spring Break!
God I want to go back to Europe so bad. It's been 2 and a half years! Luckily, I'm going back this coming summer and potentially will be attending the World Cup with my boy toy! Woo hoo!
I can't wait for christmas. the sec my finals are over.. i'm outta here....! Vienna here I come.
Sweet. I'll add you to the list!
What a beautiful picture that is! *sigh* I'll be back soon...you can count on that!
YAYAYAY THORSTEN! and pericas- you need to come back!! it's been that long for me, so i know how you feel. but that is awesome about the world cup. lucky gal
Hehehe...I've only been away from Germany/Europe for less than 3 months and I'm already desperate for my next "Europe-dose"! Which reminds me that I need to go and get a German visa pretty soon....it's already November, people!
And speaking of beautiful pictures, have any of you seen the pictures on the front page of the ais website? I didn't know that our school looked that pretty! :awestruck:
Today's yummy lunch at AIS was (according to the website):
1. Chicken leg / curry sauce. Jasmin rice. Mixed vegetables.
2. Spaghetti carbonara.
mmmm....that sounds way much better than what I am eating these days. Lucky kids. I would really kill for one of those Wienerschnitzel and mashed potato right time....
i wouldn't be complaining if that was what i was eating. i've pretty much been living off mcds and burger king. how sad is that? no time for real food!
T minus 49 days!!!
I just booked... I'll arrive on December 28 and leave on January 13, with a two day intermission sometime around the 4-6 to visit my grandparents in Germany.
Weeeeeew!!!!!!!!!
YAYAYYA KAAAAAIIIIIIII!!! i am so effing excited! only 35 days
Hell yeah! I can't wait for the good times, beer, champagne, and Grape-Flavored Pushkin Vodka... Well, better scratch that last one!
One can always chill at MY place in the 13th.... Eventhough i am not the party person (ANYMORE). But it'll be fun..... Trust me.....
Dude Oliver, can't wait to check out the new place, for sure we need work out some crazy party plans
Weeew! Not much time left until the craziness. I'm just taking a break right now from studying for my last exam, which is in a little over ten hours.
So now we have...
- Kai
- Kerstin
- Katie
- Oliver
- Stani
- Thorsten
Six out of fifty-something isn't bad! Plus I'm sure there will be more, in particular one individual who feels he's "not quite up to the high quality" of this site! Yet I know he visits regularly!
Additionally, I know of a couple other cool people from our +/- 1-to-3-year AIS generation, like Kenneth, who will be there. It should be great. I can't wait to stand downtown in the insanity!
OK, now back to the boredom that is US - African relations.
Hey I've got an idea! Let's start a fundraiser called "Dragging the Perkyass back to Vienna!" Any takers?
