It's high time we have a memory section!  What memories from your high school years do you think back upon when you sit alone in your dorm avoiding your work at all costs?

Good ones
damnit, i put all my really great ones in that other section! like the siamese soccer with the beanstalk of our grade, or being tackled by futch at sophomore retreat, or hitting thorsten in the face with a snowball completely by luck and then being picked up and thrown into a snowdrift...

OOH! one of my best memories that drifted back into my consciousness thanks to a lovelie oldies station i listen to was senior year pops concert singing and dancing "i wanna hold your hand" with pericas    awwwwwwww i heart you, perkyass!

As much as all you sang great, that concert depressed the hell out of me! 75% of Beetles songs are just plain depressing, and another 20% are depressing if you're not currently in a relationship!

Like my dad always says: "I was never a Beetles fan. They were too soft. I was all about the Rolling Stones!" :buttrock:

Ok this is a silly memory but Gift will appreciate it.  Gift and I as some of you may or may not know were Catholic buddies.  We went to church and sang int he choir together etc.  So naturally we decided to celebrate fat Tuesday together and give up the same things for lent.  How many boxes of those chocolate crackers did we end up eating again Gift?  Oh yeah and that year we decided to give up all junk food, but being the naughty girls that we are Gift and I ate junk food behind each others backs and confided in other people, (such as Robby and Ahmed) only to have those people confront us both.  Sorry I cheated on you Gift!  hehe.

Oh yeah...I had a lot of embarrassing moments at AIS as well.  One of which occurred my freshmen year.  I was in a hurry and running down the 9th grade stairwell to my locker (before they renovated it)from vball practice and did not realize the cleaning ladies had just mopped.  Anyway, I tumbled down the entire flight of stairs and cut up my shins pretty bad.  From the junior hallway I hear..."What the hell was that!?"  I realized it was the Varisty Volleyball team including the Kellogg twins, Tom, Ryan, etc walking towards the stairway.  Bleeding at this point and unable to stand up I proceeded to crawl away from the stairway so they wouldnt find me.  I still have the bruises on my shins today to prove my fall.  *sigh* memories!

HAHAHAHA oh yes...there's no one i'd rather celebrate fat tuesday with than my darling danielle  :D  that was a tough lenten season for me...what with my mom making all that damn tiramisu!

our senior year, i was walking through the sophomore hallway in between classes on the way to the villa and i saw jeff and clemens weigandt walking next to me. naturally, i put my arm around jeff in a show of genuine affection and proceeded to walk with him like that until he pantsed me. hahahaha, i remember backing up against a wall and holding my binders in front of my...um...front until i was able to get my pants back up. then, i went into attack mode. heh. i ran after jeff with a vengeance, banged my thigh into a radiator (which resulted in yellow-green bruise the size of my bunny, remember her? anyhow, it lasted weeks), and holding jeff in a headlock until thorsten came and made me let go. heh.

geez...i can even remember what underwear i was wearing...it was hot pink  :buttrock:

I did that fall down the 9th grade stairwell several times. Sometimes I made it down but tripped on the carpet/mat and fell there. Fun times. Now I know why I was voted "Most likely to fall into an open sewer."
hahahahahaha...those superlatives were quite the event...i think i got best hair. heh. which brings to mind this one day when, in the middle of my US history course, jerod soloman actually walked across the classroom to smell my hair because someone was talking about it. heh. it's kind of disconcerting having people smell your hair...
hahahaha yeah I didn't get any of the yearbook superlatives...hmmm wonder why.  But superlatives are so silly anyway.  I got some of the most random shit for Natalie's superlatives in the Scrapbook.  I think I got Jennifer Aniston on Friends, and JLo (not really a compliment in my opinion).  hehehe.  But at least I didn't get the next Richard Simmons, which went to Emily...hehe poor girl, she's been traumatized for life!
hahahahaha i remember that...poor em, she was so weirded out.

i'm warning you all. i have so many memories from high school, i could spit them out until i'm old, decrepit, and have swollen ankles.

when i got my first tattoo, it was over a weekend so i came into school wearing really comfy, terry-cloth pants that i could wear below the tattoo and thus save myself from any unnecessary pain. naturally, sarah came over to see it and was oohing and ahhing over it and decided she needed to touch it. the conversation went something like this:

sarah: ooh! *poke*
gift: ouch!
sarah: oh! sorry! *poke* does that hurt?!
gift: OUCH! YES!

heh...

i may not have been there for any of those... but i sure did laugh my tooshie off! thanks guys

I love how I'm quoting this eight months later, but what's up with girls feeling disconcerted when guys sniff their hair!? It's just hair! I can't tell you how many nights at the bar I've ruined with that move.

Or perhaps I just have a hair fetish... ???

Yikes Kai.  Yeesh...memories in AIS? I have too many embarrasing ones and too many good ones. Hmm....the times I ticked off Marrinucci during AFHOTWTF were always fun.  Or the time I hugged the guidance couselor and then didn't realize how close I was to the stairwell outside the library and went headfirst looking at the ceiling. Then my sister Maggie and her friends walked past and saw me in my pile of agony.  Thank god Nick Jensen and Thorsten were there to help me up.
